Virtual Tours and Still PicturesWe are a small family owned and operated, lakefront resort just 5 minutes west of world famous Algonquin Park, catering mainly adults looking for a peaceful, tranquil, stay.

We offer a variety of accommodation and below describes the self-catering, (housekeeping) cottages as requested. Cottages are available on a weekly basis for July and August and on a minimum 2-night stay when possible.

Cottage #19

is an open concept cottage with A/C. The living/dining room/kitchen and sleeping area is one room. The bed is a queen size bed. There is a separate bathroom, which features a regular size whirlpool bathtub with shower, pedestal sink and toilet. This cottage was recently renovated and features cathedral ceilings and a gas fireplace. The walls are finished in knotty pine. (Available May to October 31st only, not winterized.)

Cottages #21 and #22

are built like a semi-detached home. They are two fully self-contained units with A/C. Each unit was recently renovated and finished in knotty pine. The four-piece bathrooms (click for photo) feature a regular size whirlpool bathtub with shower, pedestal sink and toilet. There is a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. The living room/kitchen/dining area is open concept. The living room is sunken and is fully carpeted. It has a sofa and gas fireplace.

Cottage #23

is our only two-bedroom cottage with A/C. It is located right on the water's edge. It too was recently renovated. It features a four-piece bathroom with regular size whirlpool bathtub with shower, pedestal sink and toilet. The living room has wall-to-wall windows, which allows for a spectacular view of the lake and sunsets. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed. A maximum of four persons can share this cottage.


To allow sufficient time for housekeeping, check in time is after 3:00 p.m. and check out on the day of departure is no later than 10:00 a.m. Early or Late check out $ 25 per hour, if requested to and agreed by management.

All cottages are equipped with refrigerator and stove, microwave, cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes and glassware, coffee maker and toaster. An outside barbeque is also available. Bed linens and towels are provided. You will have to supply your own beach towels. Tea towels, soap and dish soap is supplied. We supply garbage bags, toilet paper and clean towels daily.

There is a casual, licensed, resort-style dining room that offers selected evening meals from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm. You may bring your own wine to the dining room with a $10 corkage fee, which will be added to your bill. Reservations are highly recommended for Dinner. Breakfast 8 am to 10.30 am does not need a reservation unless you are a party of 4 or more.

Canoes and kayaks are complimentary for our guests to use on the lake.

This area provides breathtaking scenery for the naturalist and photographer. Oxtongue Lake provides the perfect setting for the canoe enthusiast. Miles of hiking trails and activities are available in Algonquin Park.

Out of consideration for our guests with allergies, we do not accept pets. Boarding kennels are nearby.

We are located just 2 1/2 hours north of Toronto and 3 1/2 hours west of Ottawa. We are a 25-minute drive from Huntsville on Highway #60 (at the Oxtongue Lake Bridge) and 5 minutes from Algonquin Park's west gate.
