Opeongo is Algonquin Park's biggest lake. The Hailstorm Creek Nature Reserve area features many opportunities for viewing moose and other wildlife. A water taxi transports participants and canoes with a bag lunch down Opeongo Lake to the entrance of Hailstorm Creek. At the creek you will begin your canoe adventure.
